It was the day we’ve all been waiting for – a 50-degree and sunny February day in what has been a long, cold winter. It couldn’t last long enough, and my mind was gearing up for what will be a very long “to do” list of activities in and around my home. But all I wanted to do this warm day was stand still and feel the sunshine and warm breeze on my face.
We’re never sure how long days like these will last, but we’ll take what we can get.
Back inside, I look around at my tired old furniture and dull paint on the walls. My busy lifestyle has left my home neglected, but this year, I’m committed to revitalizing my living spaces with interior design improvements. First, we have to tackle the leaky chimney and the damaged ceiling!
If you’re like me, our feature “Designers Showcasing their Styles” will get you pumped and inspired to get started. I’ve found that’s the most difficult part of decorating – where to start. A designer also gives me confidence that I’m making the right buying decisions and that the end result will be fabulous!
Who wouldn’t want to have their own personal chef! In this issue, we launch our “Gourmet for a Day” giveaway, so be sure to enter that one at www.lifeandspaces.com.
Outside again, home improvement season is gearing up so get your list of home improvement projects together and enjoy the thoughts of working in the warmth of your outdoor spaces.
